Ocean City Barons Tryouts - Venue Change for Saturday, March 17th, 2007
Tryout moved to 15th and Haven Soccer Field
Ocean City , NJ - The Ocean City Barons have set three dates during March where they will be holding Open tryouts for the 2007 P.D.L. season. The tryouts will be held at the newly re-developed Soccer Complex on Tennesse Avenue in Ocean City. The Ocean City Barons continue to grow on and off the field, and the 2007 season will be one of the most exciting yet. The Barons will play in the re-formatted Mid-Atlantic Division of the Eastern Conference, the Division will include Richmond Kickers Future, Virginia Beach Submariners, Williamsburg Legacy, West Virginia Chaos, Delaware Dynasty, Fredricksburg Gunners, Reading Rage, and Northern Virginia Royals.
The tryouts for the Barons Super-20 team will be held in conjunction with the PDL tryouts. Any player born after January 1st, 1987 is eligible for the Super-20 team. The Barons Super-20 team will play in the newly formed United Soccer Leagues Super-20 League desinged to bridge the gap for players in high school or college and the PDL.
The Barons Super-20 team will compete in the Mid-Atlantic Division along side Beachside SC (Wilton, CT) Jersey Knights (North Brunswick, NJ). FC DELCO (Philadelphia, PA), PDA (NJ) Lions SC (Bowie, MD), Quickstrike SC (Newburgh, NY) Brooklyn Knights, FC Westchester (NY), Long Island Rough Riders, Ironbound SC (NJ), Red Bull New York, Parsippany SC (NJ), City Islanders Academy (PA), Super Nova FC (PA), D.C. United, Hockessin-United Futbol Academy (DE), and the Reading Rage (PA).
There will be a $20 administration/tryout fee. Registration will take place at the 15th and Haven Soccer Field, in Ocean City.
