Barons Partner with Doncaster Rovers Belles
The South Jersey Barons Youth Organization and the Ocean City Baron’s Club (USL Premier Development League) are pleased to announce a relationship with the historic English Women’s Club, The Doncaster Rovers Belles. The agreement will help the two Clubs forge a relationship through coaching exchanges, sharing coaching resources and practice methods, and providing opportunities for players from both Clubs to train at each other’s facilities.

In the Fall of 2009 South Jersey Barons U18 player Kameron Teel (Glassboro, N.J./Gloucester Catholic H.S.) will begin his college expereince at the NCAA DII Shippensburg University (PA).

Barons Academy Players Take England Trip
Training with Reading Academy Team
Five South Jersey Barons Academy players are on a Eight day trip to Reading, England over the Easter Weekend and the following week. The boys will spend the weekend sight seeing and attending professional games then spend the week training with the Reading Academy U18 Team. Barons GM Neil Holloway will send daily updates about their trip.

Team of the Week
Every Monday the the South Jersey Barons Youth Academy Team of the Week will be announced on the Barons website. The Team of the Week is made up of Youth Academy players who were outstanding in the games during that week. U18 players announce college commitments
OCEAN CITY, NJ (February 6, 2009) - The South Jersey Barons Boys and Girls Under-18 teams are graduating high school soon so the club held a college bound signing day at the newly built Ocean City Barons club house. NBC40 TV station were on hand to film the occasion and the Boys and Girls made the Tuesday night sports broadcast.
The 2009 Graduating Class have been the most succesful Boys and Girls teams in the South Jersey Barons Youth Academy history. We wish every player the best of luck in the college playing career.
Barons Alumni Wins National Championship
Sheridan and Cunningham both advance to final
Two South Jersey Barons Alumni, Sean Cunningham (Messiah) and Todd Sheridan (Stevens Intitiute) met each other in the NCAA DIII National Championship game on December 6th, 2008. The first time Barons Alumni had appeared in a NCAA National Championship Game. Messiah College senior goalkeeper Nick Blossey stopped three Stevens Institute of Technology attempts in a 2-1 shootout victory to capture the sixth NCAA Division III Men’s Soccer National Championship in school history.
Online Payment System Now Open
As of September 24th, 2008 all South Jersey Barons and Banshees Youth Academy members can now make tuition payments via the clubs website and online registration system. Once members have submitted their contract and deposit, they have the option to make remaining payments online.
This service will allow for payment flexibility and is provided by our website hosts Demosphere Inc. Demposphere are host to over 2000 clubs in the US soccer community. Continue for details on how to get started.
Reading FC partners with Barons
English side features U.S. international Marcus Hahmnemann
In a landmark agreement, the South Jersey Barons organization, fronted by their Premier Development League (PDL) club, the Ocean City Barons, have formed a partnership with Reading Football Club of the English Premier League (EPL). As part of the agreement, which was organized through Reading’s "Football in the Community Trust" program, the "Royals" will send some of their coaches to lend their expertise and help run the Barons’ youth academy camp in August. Also, Reading FC will continue to host the Barons’ youth teams during Easter weekend, as they expose the young players to some of the top facilities at one of the elite youth development clubs in the EPL.
