COCOA, FLORIDA - The United Soccer Leagues today announced the ’89/’90 Girls Super Y-League ODP National Select after four of days player identification. South Jersey Banshees U17 Goalkeeper Alyssa Kelly was named to the team as one of two goalkeepers. 

Kelly was one of 16 goalkeepers who attended the camp, their were two keepers from each of the Eight Super Y-Leage Divisions.  The keepers were evaluated during keeper specific training session and on their play in games. The top 4 keepers were selected to the select game on the last day from which the top two keepers were picked.

Next week Six South Jersey Banshees will make the trip down to Florida for the ’92/’93/’94 Girls SYL ODP National Camp from February 2-6. Also attending the camp will be Barons Coaches Neil Holloway, Scott Middlemass, and John Thompson, who are part of the National Coaching Staff and will be evaluation players.

Players representing the Banshees are Kelsea Kneisel (Mainland H.S.), Shea Levi (Williamstown H.S.), Jessica Figueroa (Mainland H.S), Mackenzie Pezzi (Millville H.S.), Sydney Cetrullo (Eastern H.S.), and Courtney Budd
