White called into camp again
Bob Bradley preparing the U.S. National Team for another "friendly" with Mexico on Feb. 6 in Houston
After earning his first cap for the U.S. National Team in a 2-0 win over Sweden on January 19, Jeremiah White will get another chance to prove himself. This time, the stakes are higher. Every national team call-up is important for a player, but there’s something special about a U.S. camp that will prepare the team for a match against Mexico.
"I’m not as nervous this time around," said White. "I felt the first camp went well, so I’m just doing my best to step it up a level for this next camp."
National team boss Bob Bradley has invited Jeremiah White and 20 other players to the Home Depot Center in Carson, CA to prepare for the February 6 match in Houston against their arch rivals. White made his first appearance for the senior team when he came off the bench in the 81st minute to replace Landon Donovan in the United States’ victory over Sweden.
"I would love to participate in this next match," said White. "It would be an honor to represent my country against Mexico."
White currently plays professionally in the Danish Superliga for AGF Aarhus. He played for the Barons during the 2003 season while attending Wake Forest University. That year, he had six goals and one assist in nine matches, totaling the second highest point total (13) on the team that year.
